The Friends of the Library Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday June the fourth. The meeting will be held at 3 pm at the library and all Friends of the Library members are encouraged to attend. Elections for new officers will be held and committee chairs will be appointed for the next year. Refreshments will be served from 2:45 pm.
Prior to the meeting there will be a presentation by Dick Wall of Mister Owita’s Guide to Gardening: How I Learned the Unexpected Joy of a Green Thumb and an Open Heart. The book was written by his late wife, Carol Wall, and was published to critical acclaim, named one of the top ten books of 2014 by USA Today and one of the best books of 2014 by AARP. People Magazine gave the book 4 stars. Recently, Carol and Dick’s story and a book review appeared in an article on parade.com.
